A bit about myself

I'm Ted Hawkins and I live in an outer suburb of London, England. My family and I moved here over 25 years ago, thinking we'd only be in this location for a short while (the best laid plans of mice and men...) - we're still here.

My father's job meant we moved around a lot. So the time here has been beneficial for my son and daughter in that they grew up in one place - a luxury I knew nothing of. Since 1986 I've been saying, "I haven't lived anywhere this long before". Eventually I became used to it (sort of).
